Vancouver Island Jewellers (Dievert's Jewellers) uses the highly sophisticated CHASE Paymentech Hosted Orbital Gateway to protect customers’ payment account data. As a consumer when you enter payment data you are entering your information directly to CHASE Paymentech. Your personal credit card information never touch our servers, is never stored by Vancouver Island Jewellers (Dievert's Jewellers) and is not available to any unauthorized personnel.

For your protection, the nature of our business requires that we take extra security and anti-faud precautions, please understand that we may require a few extra steps for credit card verification.

  • Account Verification Service (AVS): Helps reduce your risk by verifying the your cards billing address with the card issuer.
  • Card Security Verification: This process looks at the credit card’s security value, which is the non-embossed 3- or 4-digit numeric code, and checks it against the issuer's value on file. They are known as CVV2 (Visa®), CVC2 (MasterCard®), CID (American Express®).

  • Payment Brand Data Security Additional Visa, MastercCard and Amex fraud prevention tools are also employed.
